Avisalae Draconis
It's no surprise that with all the breeds of dragon that are out in the world, not all of them are fully known. The Avisalae is one such breed. Living in a realm removed from time is where this subbreed of Dragon lives. Due to this fact there's no way to know when the Avisalae came into existence. These draconis are typically very private individuals when living outside of their homelands, and usually stay away from others. However, there are a few that find the solitude a bit... much.
Despite the fact that they are dragons, they are warm blooded, and do not lay eggs, but are live bearing instead. While scales cover the entirety of their form, those scales are covered in a thick layer of fur. The pattern of said fur while changing from one draconis to the next, has still been known to take on the natural pattern of feral animals one would find out in the world. Whether those animals be mammals, avian, or other. Their wings are feathered rather than the typical draconic wings that one might be used to seeing on beasts this large. It's not uncommon for royal members to have a single longer feather on each wing indicating that they are from the family line. Horns and spines are not uncommon on the Avisalae, but they have no distinct horn growth or spine growth from one to the next. The true full size of an Avisalae, has been known to rival that of a Gold Dragon, however they're quite capable in shifting and changing their sizes as they see fit making them true shape shifters.
Due to the fact that the Avisalae are removed from many others in terms of where their homeland is. It's not surprising that outsiders are simply, not welcome. While the Avisalae can bring and outsider with them, it's more often then not that these outsiders will be treated with about as much respect as one would treat a common pest. It's difficult enough to get them to view other dragons as even being related to them in any form or fashion. Some of this is due to the fact that Avisalae are timekeepers, and tend to see themselves as superior as they are truly outside time, and can go back and change events in history if so needed.
