Felis Curator
Felis Curator are precisely as their name indicates, they are Feline Guardians. Not written down in any history book, or spoken of in lore, it is not known when the Felis Curator first came to be. In the early ages of their being, they were generally familiars for Witches. Many, because of this were sought out and destroyed. Unlike most familiars, Felis Curator do not need to be bound to another in order for them to survive. However, not being bound to another does leave them with a feeling of being empty, of being alone.
There are three ways in which a Felis Curator can become bound to another. One is simply by accident. Younger Felis Curator who build and develop extremely close relationships with others can end up binding themselves to that person. Another, is the binding develops overtime, usually due to the Felis Curator in question becoming emotionally attached to another. The third is more of a mutual binding. There does not have to be any emotional attachment involved with such a binding.
Once a Felis Curator is bound to another, they are bound for life. There is no way to break it, no way to sever their link to the one in which they are bound. The only way a Felis Curator can be free of their binding, is if they, or their charge dies. The later usually causes the Felis Curator to wander in grief... lost for a time, and completely unsure of their course.
Though it's not known, Felis Curator have the ability to take on three forms. One form, is that of a cat, their second form, is sort of a cat human hybrid. Apparently human in body, with a feline tail and ears, while their third form is naturally only human.
Felis Curator are elemental beings. These elements are split between Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Dark. Generally it is the color of their fur that indicates which element that a Felis is capable of wield. If a Felis is of two or more fur colors, then they are capable of wielding each of the elements that correspond with that fur color. These colors are, Orange, for fire, Gray for water, Tabby for earth, Points for air, White for light, and Black for dark.
